Kidd Involved in Another Family Court Case
The details are sparse right now, but New Jersey Nets star Jason Kidd and his wife are back in family court.
The Record of Bergen County reported Tuesday that Jason Kidd accused his wife of mistreating their three children and filed a domestic violence complaint Monday in state Superior Court in Hackensack [NJ].
A lawyer representing Kidd commented to The Record that “it has been painful for Jason Kidd to watch the effect of his wife’s behavior on their children.” If you remember, Kidd plead guilty to spousal abuse in 2001 after his wife told police he hit her during an argument over their son. The Kidds have one son, T.J., and twin daughters Miah and Jazelle.

Hmm...Jason chased after Joumana for several years to go out with him, if I remember the story correctly. This makes me think differently about why the domestic violence incidence happened, as well. Jason is a very logical PG who knows how things should be done, and to see his wife having no idea on how to care for the kids must hurt that logical side. Unfortunately, hotness doesn't necessarily corrolate with taking care of the kids, being a good person, etc...it's too bad, I feel sorry for both of them. Ok, enough touchy-feely analysis for the day.
Erp, just noticed a gaping hole in that comment; by no means does that justify him hitting his wife.
